British band The Ting Tings stop by Passport Approved to do their first-ever U.S. radio interview and give thanks to the show’s host Sat Bisla for giving them their first-ever radio support worldwide (ex-U.K.). Thanks to Sat’s early support, The Ting Tings had their music heard on Passport Approved by executives from EA Games and Apple, which landed them placements on a video game and commercials for iPod and iTunes.
One of England’s biggest-selling female artists of all time — Dido at her first-ever performance in the U.S. in Los Angeles. Dido got her first-ever radio play in the world on Passport Approved host Sat Bisla’s previous radio show when he played her demo “Flowerstand Man,” which appeared on the debut Faithless album.
