South Wales indie-rockers Ratoon make their latest statement with “Are You Feeling Fine?,” a punchy new single that captures the youthful energy, emotional honesty, and infectious hooks that have quickly become the band’s calling cards. Blending driving guitars with an unmistakable indie swagger, the track showcases a four-piece with a growing knack for turning real-life emotion into songs built for the live room. Comprised of Eifion Davies, Sam Davies, Matti Huxtable, and Josh Davies, Ratoon have already made serious strides on the U.K. indie circuit, building a devoted following through a string of high-energy shows and standout festival appearances. The band shared stages with The View and Alfie Templeman, while also performing at the Isle of Wight Festival, impressive milestones for a band still early in their journey. Following their debut EP Butterfly Effect, which has surpassed 50,000 collective streams, Ratoon have earned support from BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru, including Adam Walton and Mirain Iwerydd, who named them “New Band of The Month.” With comparisons to The Royston Club, Safari Gold and The Now, Ratoon are carving out a sound that feels both immediate and distinctly their own. “Are You Feeling Fine?” is another confident step from a band with the songs, energy, and ambition to make a serious impact beyond Wales.
